Much of the work we do is unique, one of a kind Stained Glass art work. The works on this page are pieces we make on a regular basis. We first sculpt a figure in potter's clay. This is called a positive. We use it to make an impression in dry plaster. This is the negative. We then place a piece or 2 pieces of glass over the negative and put it into the kiln to slump. And although they're not "one-of-a-kind", each one is unique in that the glass is always individual in character, and, of course, they are all made by hand. Each one is drilled and hung from a leather strap. Hung in a window or on a wall, they make terrific gifts. Other colors and glass choices available on request (subject to availability). | |
