Our Newest Art Glass

Kath's Newest Piece;

ANANDA

Ananda is a Sanscrit word meaning bliss. So much of Kathy's work reflects her strong religious feelings and this is the newest, and perhaps most beautiful, fused and slumped expression of those beliefs.

Made entirely of Bullseye® Compatible Glass, Ananda showcases a single pink Lotus in a field of deep blue with a light amber inner border. Using Hanovia® Gold paint, the word Ananda (bliss) is written in Sanscrit 8 times around the circle. Surrounding the inner bowl are 16 smaller lotuses articulated with Hanovia® Gold paint on the flat extension.

ORIGINS III

Origins is a breathtaking platter largely made of rainbow iridescent on black and gold iridescent on black glass. In the center, the gold coating has been sandblasted away to reveal the fish. We can also see the flowing waters, the cycle of the sun, moon, the earth and the planets. And the cycle and origins of life.

With Origins III Joe continues a theme he started with cycles.
